Zebonky Named Los Angeles Tribune Inspirational Toy Company of the Year
We have some big news to share!
Zebonky has been named:
The Los Angeles Tribune's Inspirational Toy Company of the Year for 2026.

This award means so much to us, not just as a milestone for the company, but as validation that the work we're doing really makes a difference. When we set out to build Zebonky, we weren't just trying to make another fun toy. We really wanted to create something that helped kids feel seen, spark their curiosity, and remind them that what makes them different is exactly what makes them special.
Getting that recognition from an outlet like The LA Tribune is genuinely humbling.
The feature highlighted everything that has been driving us since day one: the characters, the mission, the community work, and the world we're building together. They recognized our recent toy donations to children's hospitals, our partnership with organizations supporting foster youth and at-risk children, and our commitment to making sure kids from all backgrounds have access to imaginative play and positive role models.
They also spotlighted our children's book launching this summer, which has been a labor of love for our whole team and something we cannot wait to put in kids' hands.
A few words from Dr. Moe Rock, CEO and Publisher of the LA Tribune, stood out to us: he said Zebonky has created something special, and that our characters encourage children to embrace their individuality, discover their strengths, and develop the emotional tools they need to navigate life. That is exactly what we are trying to do, every single day.
We are a small team with a big vision. Every step forward, every award, every kid who picks up a Zebonky and immediately wants to know their backstory, tells us we're on the right path.
Thank you for being part of this with us.
