Dorsal Cove
Dorsal Cove is a small bay with a beautiful hidden beach surrounded by rocky cliffs. Sharmadillos love swimming in this active little cove because of its strong currents and other playful sea life.
Dorsal Cove is named after a large, triangular rock that sits at the top of its waterfall (it looks like a giant dorsal fin cutting through the water). Although it may seem like a normal waterfall from a distance, the water flows UPWARD from the cove into the rainforest above!
Shaan Sharmadillo enjoys jumping into the current at the bottom of the "hydro-rise" (as he likes to call it), which slings him to the top of the cliff. Then he does a CAN-NON-BAAAAALL back down into the water below.
Shaan and his cuddleherd often find grubberries washed ashore on the banks of the rainforest river above.
