The Magenta Mountains are a beautiful crystal mountain range located Northwest of the Squvannahs. They are made of a special type of tanzanite crystal that changes color in different light. On sunny days, the mountains look deep blue. On cloudy days, they turn violet. During sunrise and sunset, they change to reddish-brown.

At the top of the tallest mountain, Mt. Tanzan, is a magical cave known for its healing abilities. When the sun is brightest, it charges the mountain and makes the cave’s powers even stronger. Beneath Mt. Tanzan are the mysterious Crystal Caverns. Supposedly, this is where Unicorpions live, play, and harness their magical powers. 

During the Squffalo yearly migration, they travel through the valleys that wind between the Magenta Mountains. The valleys are filled with hayfir trees and giant moonflowers. Every year, Sofia Squffalo catches glimpses of mysterious Zebonkies slipping through caveside cracks or sliding down the sleek slopes.
